Victoria Avetisyan - Mezzo Soprano and Boston Area Voice Teacher

Teaching Philosophy

Since early on, teaching was a part of my professional life. I work with children, adolescents, conservatory students and young professional singers. Teaching children requires special attention to preserving the vocal health, developing breathing technique and diction, while nurturing the child’s musicality and artistic individuality. These fundamental qualities form a basis for the successful development of an adult voice artist of any genre, from classical bel canto to pop singing.

I have started my work as a teacher at the renowned Spendiaryan Music School for Gifted Children in Armenia.  In my Boston area private studio( in Burlington, MA) , my students are exposed to a variety of musical genres and styles. I help my students choose individual and ensemble pieces that best suit their stage of voice development and personality.
